Making Shakers

Our toddlers learnt about sounds following the theme "My Senses" and focusing on "I can hear" for the month of May. Children learnt to create sounds with their shakers which they have made using plastic bottles and different materials. They also moved around and sang songs at e same time.

Here are Punith, Chrizen, Muhsayne and Peijie with the shakers!

They are really busy experimenting the handmade shakers.




The other activity for this month is "Making Popcorns!"
In this activity, children get to see how raw corn turned into popcorns. They also get to observe and listen to the popcorns popping.

All waiting for the raw corns to get "cooked".


They each get to touch the raw corn first.


They seemed so excited!

Now they are all waiting patiently to hear the "pop" sound from the popcorns!

The popcorns are ready! Try smelling it. :)

Yeah! The children were happy to have gotten themselves some popcorn to eat! :D
亲爱的家长,五月的学习主题是《托儿所》, 孩子们学习礼貌用语,学习与同伴分享玩具,学习关心同伴,学穿裤子和鞋子,学搬椅子。学念儿歌《好宝宝》、《小鼓》等。老师讲《欢迎新朋友》的故事,正好班里来了好几个新朋友, 老师就借着这个故事,教导小朋友如何去关心那些新朋友。老师还教小朋友手指谣如:《打电话》和《小公园》等。美劳活动如:《自然粘贴画》和《手指印画》。老师还和他们一起进行了谈话活动,谈的是《球》和《红色物品》。

铠溢坐在球上摇来摇去,感觉它会滚动.



佩洁拿着一只蓝色的球, Punith拿着一只黄色的球,在玩滚球的游戏.

Young children use all their five senses to explore the world that revolves around them. Therefore, it is important for us to provide more opportunities for these children to engage in more hands-on activities. So, here goes! Toddlers having fun with fruits!

Hmmm.. i can smell the banana!


Look! This is the banana after cutting it into pieces!


What's the next fruit? Oh yes! Apple! Let's peel the skin!


So many red apples!


After cutting the apple into small bite-sized pieces, it's time to put them all in the blender! Let's make apple milkshake!


After putting the apples in, we add some milk in!


After blending, here we are, drinking our very own apple milkshake! :)

宇欣左手按着砂纸,右手拇指,食指和
中指握着一只白色粉笔的上部在画圈圈。


佩洁左手和右手各握一只粉笔在砂纸上画画。


铠溢用右手按着砂纸, 左手五个指头握住粉笔在砂纸画直线.


慧恩在砂纸上画出漂亮的直线和曲线。右手又伸进盒子,去拿其它颜色的粉笔.



卫生习惯课—洗澡



Muhsayne一手拿着毛巾,一手抓着玩具婴儿的手,在为她洗澡.
