To nurture the young minds of our children, especially in this age group, we always focus on hands-on approach for the children to use their five senses to observe and learn. In one of the many lessons planned for the children, they were supposed to make their own Nestum porridge!

Conducting cookery lessons like this has always been a fun experience, especially when we could see how toddlers are able to follow instructions well. At the same time, we are giving them the opportunity to explore and experiment.

Children should be given opportunities like this to stretch their level of creativity.

Let's take a look at what Teacher Norzilah has to share about her experiences conducting this cookery lesson with the children!

Children were introduced to all the ingredients on making Nestum porridge.

Angel, stirring the bowl of Nestum porridge.

In this picture, Princess was stirring her bowl of Nestum porridge and was ready to eat it! Cedric on the other hand, was busy pouring the raisins into his bowl of Nestum porridge!

See how much they persevered, to make the best Nestum porridge ever!
