Hands-on (Art and Craft)

One of the many activities that we had conducted for our children this month was

"Walking Forward"!

This activity focuses more on developing children's gross motor skills. A few pieces of blank mahjong paper were laid on the floor and children would have to walk forward on the mahjong paper without paint on their feet. After about a few times walking, the children dipped their feet into paint and continued walking on the mahjong paper. They were so excited while doing this!

In another lesson, the children had fun learning about the various parts of a face. Teacher provided cookies and some fruits to make a face. While the children were making their own faces using the cookies and fruits, they could also name the part of the face for example "eyes", "mouth" and "nose".

Tong Yang placing the right eye.

Muhsayne getting all excited to eat his "face".

Yamone eating her "face" after the whole activity has ended.
